The dreams of a million little kids
When one tastes its first ice cream cone
When one sees its first pair of breasts
When one feels its final breaths escape

But what happens when all of those dreams disappear?
What if the ice cream melts into a puddle of sticky flesh?
What if those pair of breasts sag and rot away?
What if that final breath never comes, to leave you walking the earth alone

What if life decides one hasn't had enough to deal with?
What if love decide to find someone else to play with?
What if it decides to never come find you again?

You'd stand worthless...alone...scared...
Deprived...depressed...in need...
A lost cause with a noble purpose
And a noble man with a broken hope

(quick little poem, a vent)
