Broken Love

Broken Love
By Dusty Farkworth
Ó May 4, 2004

Memories of a heart broken.
Harsh words spoken.
Lasting memories of pain.
Nothing more to gain.
Actions taken in anger.
Arms of a stranger.
Head reeling.
Utterly repealing.
Emptiness envelopes,
Depression develops.
Eyes looking for loves trace,
in a lovers face.
Tears fall freely.
Knees buckle weakly.
Memories evading.
Hurts fading.
Strength returning with each moment of love given.
Assistance received from heaven.
Love again returns.
A heart mending from lessons learned.
Hurts heal in time.
With loves sweet touch to a heart sublime.
Forgiven wrong.
Love grows strong.
