In the twilight of existence
I am tossed
Upon the main
The eternal shores of life
Where I am broken
Against the rocks
Of forgiveness wanted
But unfound,
And here among the rocks
Where the tide deceives me
I await some holy
Or unholy judgment
Only to find
That no such judge exists.

Here among these jagged stones
I am bound by the ocean foam
And though the moon
Lights over black waters
I see no light, I sense no salvation.
There is only the symphony of the waves
The beautiful darkness of the sea that seeks
To claim me for its own.
I hear those waves as they
Crash against the main.
That sound like cymbals clashing
Is the sound of my destiny shattered,
And as the pale orb slithers behind
The death shroud of clouded heavens
I pass into the vastness of the dark sea
And sink down into the depths of
Oblivion forever.
