I never expected my wife to do something out of character Maybe she thought I didn't love her or pay attention It was my trust that would suffer in this situation How could Becca have found herself under suspicion? After all she had never strayed before She was always one to never seek out or explore This whole mess started with innocent web searches She finally received the call she had anticipated An old friend named Jim she had once dated Taking the call with me close by and curious She chatted up a storm with her long lost lover So much so I began to become jealous That couldn't be my wife flaunting at will Why she was actually giddy and excited as hell After hanging up she told me who it was and not to be upset I didn't pay real close attention at first My lady was never one to challenge my trust I would soon let my instincts take over I was about to spy on my lover I began by texting a joint friend named Jim He was a friend of my wife as well as the man in question I texted and asked him if anything was amiss He said it was all perfectly innocent just old friends I asked him to keep our chat a secret But shortly after we concluded our chat He was on the phone and telling my wife That backstabbing Jim had brought out his knife I didn't find out he had betrayed me right away That issue would explode in his face another day I began to research all of my baby's phone call records I did not find anything at first which eased my mind But then I struck gold when I found multiple calls Many lasting almost an hour if not more That find was discovered at three in the morning I started yelling from the desk in my office So loud the neighbors must have noticed I stamped my fist on the desk in anger I was going to wake her from her innocent slumber She denied any wrong doing at first It was then we ended the fight We made love and called it a night Then I just couldn't let things be I searched her purse and found her password list I never thought I would have turned into a spy So now I had to make a choice Invade her privacy or do nothing at all But I wouldn't listen to the angel on my shoulder The man in red was more than convincing E-mail and Facebook were just the beginning I did not find anything conclusive Then I grabbed her Apple Laptop computer Tried a few passwords written in ink I gained access on try number two in disbelief I stumbled around going slowly at first I had plenty of time as my wife was at work I found her vast records of internet searches Countless entries it was hard to believe She was exploring every site related to her ex So many in fact I decided to log off and proceed I had gathered more information than I needed It was time to confess about my devious actions She claimed she was innocent and nothing had happened I believed her, then asked why so many damn searches? I found out soon the man in question had suffered a massive stroke He was jacked up and taken to a special care facility So I decided his condition may have been a gift from above Now the trust is back and we are like teenagers in love That ex boyfriend has yet to recover and I don't care That stroke may have saved a most devastating affair
