Hot scented bubbles
Float lazily up high
A million refracted rainbows
Shimmering by
I’m submerged beneath the water
Revelling in the heat
Consumed with lethargy
Apathy
Melancholy
Swirling foam drifts around my feet
The tension dissipates
Evaporates
Into the steamy, moist air
I slowly relax
My worries seep away
While I lay
Drifting on a cloud
At the end of my day

bubble bath

"calgon, carry me away" (grinin') "washing my day away" is what I usually say. (~_~) nice 'clean' write.

~~

Wonderful imagery; the only action that exceeds what you've described is for a special someone to draw that bath and, after you've luxuriated in it, to have them slowly and sensuously bathe you.

Been there . . .

I know this feeling. Thank you for capturing it.
