Come stand next to me,
watching the water phosphoress,
as the bow plies through the sea;...
freeing little bubbles of light,
that rising above the water.
Floating heavenward into the night,
as if they were stars captured by fate,
trying to escape to join their siblings above.
yet, once caught by the sea it is too late,
and they can't escape.
They are destined to live their lives,
earthboud, with the other fallen stars.
Unlike the starlight captured in your eyes,
that gives us the power to soar,
whereever our hearts may lead,
through good times and bad,
as one we are small,
together we are more.
