it only takes that look
to make me feel so weak
to want to feel his hands
all over my body

the way I run my fingers
through his dark hair
the way his mouth makes mine
disappear all thought and care

i want to give him everything
to the edge of no return -
but it’s an impossibility
so I’ll continue to burn
