Today's world was
by Shiva wrought,
and the old ways
fast forgot...

it's flashing lights and
fly by night,
the continents naked
in each others' sight,
the ocean miles shrunk
by modem light

And how few see
how little is right,
how poisoned by complacency
our potential
is gone to seed...

as robot hands
confuse
the flower and the weed,

and oblivious
of the lit fuse,
the halls of power
take tea
and drift by sweet symphony

as the streets sink
into cloaked but vile anarchy
and Fortuna's clock ticks
as Olympus asks the question
of our fate

And they call it progress...

...as they sip Darjeeling tea

while sat on their thrones

In New Dehli
