Forever waiting for the one in her heart
Trying her best, playing her part
Hoping he will see what is hidden inside
Stripped of everything, including her pride
Her love for him grows and still she waits
Even while he runs from his fate
This bittersweet melancholy will not subside
While she mourns for the love that went by the wayside
