Author's note-Is this really how people feel?

Sometimes so out of control
These not so upstanding men and women who bully their way through our lives
Breaking their own rules and laws
Doing massive injustices to those they have sworn to protect
Taking bribes
Telling lies
Tell me
Where?
When will it ever stop?

Once just racial profiling
Now their bitter poison has spread
Spread to cover us one and all
In their slimey goo
As they patrol our streets
Handing down their form of marshall law
We cry, quiver and quake
Terrified in the discomfort our own homes
Wondering just what these monsters behind badges of false protection will do to us next

Beating down any who dare to oppose them
They run roughshod over the innocent and take the side of the guilty
For as long as price is right
They give not a damn about the wrong that they do
Bringing shame and despair to what was once such a noble profession
Now to say you wear the uniform is to say that you are a disgrace
No better then those who lives their lives behind steel bars
Zeroes not heroes
That is what I say you really are
If you dare to bare that shield of dishonor to me

No morals
No hope
No true or real justice
Just a damn sad mess you have all made
So wicked
So evil
Tell me
Do you really feel nothing?
No shame at all that in secret we whisper behind your backs
In sheer digust
These 3 oh so sad but true words....

C.O.P.S. are P.I.G.S.
