not close not far, but
certain

enough
descried

conjoined horizons rare, ineffable
naive like no thing but the wind – caravanserai

uncommon steps set out, before the dawn
made bow, unto the night

hush
breezed

the gathering

our reeds one stroke as arrow, bound
in flight

Thanks for commenting Desejo. Reed? First in the literary/poetic sense meaning "arrow", while in the metaphorical signifying extraordinarily fragile yet resilient lives, strokes of the pen even...

a depiction of the convergence of "uncommon destinies", or alternately, convergent destinies of "those uncommon"

Take your pick ;)

First -

I should thank you for a new Scrabble word - was unfamiliar with this particular spelling :)

Within these lines I get a sense of time, purpose, journey, and anticipation - all of which is relevant to the title. The only thing that confuses me a bit is the last line about reeds; just not sure what it refers to.
