Before I closed my eyes, before I said goodnight,
I saw in your deep blue eyes, the wicked truth inside.
But what do you do when the music stops?
When the Movie's over?
The twirling, decadent, magnetic pull
of the ride is always over MUCH to soon.
Stunned and dizzy you stand,
to a hazy, drunken realization...
They have stopped calling out your name.
hear is the end to all those games.
Can you forget the endless nights?
The sleepless days?
When we held on tight, while letting go.
ran away straight back to each other.
Oh! How do find the strength to leave
When the ride is over?
When the lights come on?
It is an endless circle to a sad, cold truth.
If we were stars up on the silver screen,
there would always be next year...
a sequel to save us all.
But I cannot go back to your good-bye,
at the season finale, we say farewell,
with a bitter smile we look back...
it was all just a passionate carnival ride

A sad ride here...

nice poem. You might want to proof it for a few problems... (line six... "to much" wants to be "too much and line 10, at the beginning "hear" wants to be "here". You may want to edit this one...

jim : )
