On a hot June night in Florida, at last I will be there
Moonlight glowing on your skin, the wind playing at your hair
The stars leading us as we travel on our way
I’m here at last, it’s what I longed for every day
We pause to hug and stop to kiss upon a shooting star
The same stars we gazed at when we were afar
My hand is in yours and my heart, it skips a beat
My soul is overflowing on this day we finally meet
The love I feel is real, it’s deep, and it is true
My last thought tonight will be simply, I love you
