We came out of the arroyo and on to a plateau
The sun beat on our heads and the wind it did blow
I knew where we were as I saw rocks of red color
We'd been warned of this place by a man, name of Tullar
Yet when I looked up, I couldn't believe what I saw
It was so mighty so magical it just left me in awe
Yes Cathedral Rock is the name it's been given
It holds all the names of those dead and those livin'
Oh tell us huge mountain what secrets you hide
Then beneath your cliffs I'll forever reside
In all of Sedona there's no other like you
And all that I ask is to please give us a clue
