My heart pounds in my ears,
grabbing clothing
discarded earier in lust
attempting to cover
my nakedness in haste
too late
Caught.
Face burning
cheek's flushed
stomach churns..
as guilt burns
and I turn my face
in shame.
Remorse is too late
when the deed is done
sorry won't help
nor will regrets
Caught.
Like bandits in the night
robbers in broad daylight
worse yet
a petty theif.
Judge me as foolish
a woman unaware..
He never told me
he was married!
