"you're caught" was all the text said
filling me with trepidation.
"I'm sorry" i said
without hesitation.
But its hard to be sorry
when you know not what for
and its harder to leave
when you can't find the door
and its hard to sit here
and be filled with worry
and i know the waits long
and i know he won't hurry
it could be the accident
or the credit card not paid
it could be the appointment missed
or the fact i should have stayed
it could be the attitude
or the lack of couple time
the one certain thing
is the sore thing will be mine
so for tonight i am sorry
but just sorry that i'm caught
i think i should be sorrier
but seriously, i'm not.
