My first time submitting. This is just the beginning of my chance encounter poem. I'm starting out slow and building as i go.
Poem...

It started with a glance and a smile,
From across the room.
You were probably taken,I did assume.

Something about you,had me,
In a trance.
I bravely moved forward,
And asked you to dance.

As I pulled you close to me,
And held you tight.
I wanted to be held by you,
All through the night.

You're lips whispered softly,
In my ear.
Telling me something,
That I'd long to hear.

This is our story,
As it started to unfold.
It's just the beginning,
There's more to be told.
