March comes in slow drips
of snow and ice melt
warming days
gladly felt.

The time of new life
and soft clean allure
growing beauty
strong and sure.

July bursts with heat
and long drowsy days
glowing nights
fire and haze.

The time of the sun
a reddish-orange eye
lighting both
earth and sky.

October is here
and the autumn chill
morning comes
cool and still.

The time of harvest
and slumber of old
turning leaves
red and gold.

December comes next
with wind stark and bold
freezing nights
raw and cold.

The time of retreat
into warm safe nest
calling sleep
quiet and rest.

WELLL.....

Today , in this year my friend,

I believe it is still NICE.

A turning of seasons, and I

really like it ...

*

what can I say?

The time of harvest and slumber of old

turning leaves red and gold.

800 years ago, it would have been nice

I don't think the saxons where using rhyming couplets though
