Charter of Morality

byPVodogaz©

I ponder many a time at people's actions,
I witness in one single day of living a multitude
of emotions and feelings and reactions,
Pain, hate, lies, love, backstabbing...
all in one day.

And this one thought keeps striking,
deep in my head, a chord,
"Where did people's sense of morality vanish too?"
Where did all the kindness, loyalty, honesty,
love, friendship and good natures go?

And as i ponder these thoughts,
an answer so transparent in nature invades
my head and gives me the answer;
"The Charter of Morality is not taught no more."

But to a few people, the Charter is still etched in,
and I am of that few, that believes in the good in people,
We have such beauty which is often masked,
by the ugly side of our psych.

It is time for a return to this charter,
The Charter of Morality.
