I’m waiting…waiting…waiting…
The room clicks…the mouse clicks…the silence stands still
I refresh, rescan, review
The room clicks…the mouse clicks…the silence stands still

You’re not there, not waving, not jumping not flying
You’re not there, not craving, not braving, not trying

You have my attention, my notice, my dread
What are these feelings that play in my head?

I’m waiting…waiting…waiting
The room beats…the mouse repeats…yet the silence remains
I search, scan, survey
The room beats…the mouse repeats…yet the silence remains

My heart hangs on your appearance
My thoughts on your wit and brains
          My hands await your impetuous
               My soul awaits your refrains
