Frozen footsteps
Unbelieving looks
It happens every day
And it will
Till the breath does flow
Till the blood is warm
Because do what I may
That Other has become
So much part of me
That wherever I find myself
Somewhere, in some face
I see reflected an image
Of life lived fully
Of a sharing and knowing
That brings back moments gone
That brings the pleasure of living anew
