Come and be ignored
Children of the world
Forget your cares
And lose yourself
As you enter here
Fears are left behind
Now lost and flown
No matter now
No one cares at all
Where your life may tread
So lose yourself
Forget your dream
We already have
We care not a bit
What you will do
What you will think
We ourselves are lost
Though we know it not
We have no thoughts
We have no dreams
We no longer wish
We no longer hope
So come and join
Forget your cares
Come and be ignored
Children of the world

A call for altruistic self-sacrifice in the face of mockery.

Sad, but striking!

The flow of the poem was well aspected and turned quite noticeably. The subject was rough and deadly, and I do so hope this is not how you truly feel about your place in life. You showed an angle on depression and frustration that I'm sure many can't understand, as they are seated in their families and friends with confidence and support. But it is where it stands and it stands telling with a purpose and some nice force. Good point and work!
