Let me tell you ‘bout a spicy wonderful soup
I call it Chinese Sichuan style Chicken soup.

Here’s a succulent dish - that fills your mouth in bliss
from the very first sip - them lips won’t dismiss.

Oh the flavor
your tongue shall savor
the large big bowl
better than a spring roll.

‘Cause on the whole
you need heart and soul
to share your food
and be of good mood.

So, perhaps the restaurant may look a bit old and daunting
but, your taste buds will thank you with a heavenly haunting.

Yes, the real Sichuan style is hard to find, many others are only imitating.
Yet, the real deal has a bold herbal taste, you may spend all the day meditating.

Red beans, Red dates, and Red chilies! Are all so colorful and festive.
Lotus nuts, Goji berries, and Longyan fruits! Oh so suggestive and digestive.

A touch of sweet from natural treats,
a sprinkle of seeds and other nice deeds.

Homily, Barley, Bamboo, and Mushroom. Wow! So chewy.
Hot spicy Chicken stock with Ginger root. Boom! You’ll come un-gluey.

So don’t get duped. Be sure it’s really spicy Chinese soup.
Then you may scream yahoo. Just like I often do.

And on your way out take this quote,
smile at your waitress with a note.
Here’s your tip Miss and good night Miss.

Then don’t be shy to blink an eye
and wave to her, bye-bye!
And if she loves your tie
‘n the way you said good-bye,
you may hear her saying yeah-yeah
but what she really said was Xie Xie!
