At 6 a.m. the air is preternaturally still
Save the cicadas of tinnitus,
My constant companions

This morning their chorus, an excited buzzing
For today, the man they inhabit
Will meet his lover
Same place, same time
And never the same
The cicadas sing and sing and sing

Cool.

I like this one a lot. Nice imagery, good concrete stuff. :)
