I thought of you today
when I felt the sting
disapproval
taking its bite
from happiness

A mouthful of weakness
beckoning men
I want
who don’t want me

I thought you’d taught me
not to go there
but you see
here I am
thinking of you

and into each life

Excellent

Wonderful metaphor and phrasing. Good job, CW.
