Can’t you see the lights of the City
Beckoning with amorous embrace
From streets of steel eyes
They call to you

Can’t you see the lights of the City
Love’s explosion, frenetic pace
Here in canyons of fire
They call to you

City lights are chilly lights
Warmth subsists in hearts of stone
City lights are chilly lights
Where I wander, calling you

Can’t you feel the soul of the City
Throbbing deep beneath its walls
Pulsing, haunted halls
It calls to you

Can’t you feel the longing City
Love’s echoes, shrouded alleys
Sifting through ashes
It calls to you

City lights are chilly lights
Warmth subsists in hearts of stone
City lights are chilly lights
Where I wander, calling you
