Time fades
lessons lost.
Experience priced
 at innocence cost.

Every rose has a thorn.
Every bet will hedge.
Not all in high essence
 deserves place on a legde.

Every cloud has
 weight to merit.
Spare to commit,
 stand prepared to bear it

Never say never.
You never know;
 that which is now
  next tomorrows foe.

What goes around
 never misses.
Many nightmares begin
 in yesterdays wishes.

Better to be silent.
When in doubt, delay.
Never tempt to fate
 that chips fall your way.

Liar, Liar
 looses face.
Pretence shallow
  fallen grace

Walk softly,
  load light.
Conscience regret
 diminished sight.

Nothing ventured,
 do not sell.
Whispers kept secret
 no soul to tell

Don't count your chickens.
Keep up your guard.
Gain trumped up advantages
 trust lost, credence marred

Waste not
 forewarning word
Heed accordingly
 cauctions be heard.
