Aran sweater, jeans ... she’s
climbing ahead of me
making the pace, inclined
into the soft womb of the rise, I
feel my age as I heavy-breathe
upward in her train, she is
new-love-minted
in the tapestry of my eye
new pulsing
in my dreamscape…….. new
snuffle-kissy in bed
