Clinging to Rocks on the Edge of Paradise
(full title)

Do you remember the day one summer
where we met by the waterfall
and shared our secrets, our hopes, and our dreams
do you remember the way the sun glittered on the water
and how it lit your face?
Do you remember what you told me that day on the rocks
Do you remember how I replied?

I do.
I remember that day one summer
where we met by the waterfall
I remember our secrets hopes and dreams
I remember how the sun lit up your face
and was captured in your eyes
But mostly I remember what you said

I Love You

Well I wait here again
by the waterfall
thinking of my secrets, my hopes, and my dreams
and I see the sun dance upon the water
I wait for you as always have
But I know you will never come
