Desires met only when hidden
Dark encounters
Always dark encounters
Always offered
Laid bare
Almost in sacrifice

Aching to be brought to light
The little secret to be kept
Why?
Dirty little secret?
Shameful little secret?
Delicious little secret?
Favorite little secret?
How can the secret be love?
How can it be true?

"Love" is what is said
Yet only to be shown away from the glare of daylight
Only shown in the depths of darkness.

Even then, with a cloak covered secrecy.

A cloud, a mist covering all
Outlines can be deciphered, constantly shifting and changing shapes
Which one is true? which one is yours?
None? All?
Always in the dark

Away from the glare of truth
The glare of honest daylight

Is what we have not truthful?
Honesty and emotion and depth in it's purest form?

Perhaps not, perhaps mistaken
Maybe only half exists

Can only be swathed in secrecy so long.

Perhaps fate was better left undisturbed

To hibernate for a century more

To hibernate until ready

To leave the fog and the cloak behind

Better to wait in oblivion than to know and hurt.

Sometimes i wish that it was never discovered,

And curse myself for bringing it to light

Curse myself for turning things upside down

And wish that i'd left it in peace
