annoying little flit flit buzz
your words sting
piercing my day
making me sway-n-waver
save her
I think
but you stink
like denmark
your lies stark
marked, stained
rings of rain
and all that pain
lain at my feet

true
I don't want
to see you
or your word blankets
covering history
his story
no glory, it's gory
for me
he talks of she
shouting

show me your loyalty
to a tee
tell me I got away
when you're the one
who turned
ran, in the span
of my lifetime
that moment
missing me
making it my choice
when you chose poorly

pay no heed
to my poetry
it's my vanity
this sanity
a sane brain
no rain
and yet
you still have some
puddles of it
chasing down your face
and I don't
I won't

so, just turn
don't spurn
walk away
gracefully
but fully
be his love
forget me
regret me
let me

Excellent piece

Witty, intelligent, certainly thought provoking.

I truly enjoyed this.

Powerful, angry wordplay...

history/her story was great. The poem sounded as well as it read, the echoed rhyme, alliteration added to the pace, the angry, driven verse. Well done.
