A sleek coil of silver-scaled tail,
Wrapped up in my dreams.
Today it chased me
Far and fast
Bright teeth closed tight
Dark eyes by far more dangerous
Seeking.
Chrome-plated claws
~chink~ against the stone behind me
Sharp enough to penetrate without hurting
Too much
The plain dead centers of me.
To risk a glance behind is
To risk it all.
I can’t stop it, an abiding need
That has haunted more than my dreams too long
Look into the eyes of the dragon
And by seeing, finally fully be seen.

Trash

Please stop posting these meandering, meaningless little ditties.

An interesting last line that ought be applied consciously to human relations.
