Color me simple,
For all I don't know,
Color me tired,
For I've miles to go,
Color me silly,
For the faces I make,
Color me patient,
For all the crap that I take,
Color me talented,
For the show I put me on,
Color me weak,
For I'm not very strong,
Color me hopeful,
For all of my dreams,
Color me lovely,
For all of these things.

Don't act surprised,
By what you've just read,
Don't act unknowing,
About the things that I've said.

I warned you first thing,
But you turned away,
Color me silent,
For there's no more to say.
