I can come to you very late at night,
I can come to you in the middle of the day,
I’m like flowers, freshly picked and cut,
... and gathered in a glorious bouquet.

I instill a sense of belonging, caring, loving,
Suddenly, without warning, like a refreshing breeze,
I’m forever very adaptable,
... but perpetually prefer to please.

I’ve been with you since the day you were born,
I will be with you till the moment you pass away,
I’m infinite, before, after, even here with you,
... at this moment, in this present day.

I’m with you at the closing of your eyes,
Filling you with my wondrous works of art,
I’m always touching you,
... constantly, deeply, within your heart.

I touch you lightly, softly, deliberately,
Reassuring you, caressing you, holding you tight,
Giving you my strength, a sense of liberation,
... the nucleus of my innermost might.

I know of your battles, lost and won,
I know of your loves, past and present,
Yet I can leave you standing tall,
  ... and feeling overwhelmingly pleasant.

I can bring you to places you have never been,
Fill you with feelings that will make you soar,
I do my work within your interval of rest and yet,
... I’m always with you, always knocking on your door.

Who am I you ask with a large inquisitive grin,
I kiss your tender sweet lips and whisper,
Some call me the maker of dreams,
... others, the ‘Colors of the Wind!’

I love you Deni!
I love you Penny!

~~

A nice little romaticized view of the world, of the wind.
