Come dance with me, sweet love.
Hold me close in the candle lit night,
As we feel the warmth of the sand beneath us.

Feel the emotion that moves deep within my heart,
An emotion washing through me like the
roar of the waves as far as the eye can see.

A lover's waltz we slowly glide,
The pure, sweet notes drifting upon the breeze,
The music of our hearts the joyous sound we hear.

Alone, we dance this night, yet not.
For the world can see and feel the wonders
of this beautiful love we share.

I could feel the "emotion washing through [you] like the roar of the waves" in your words. That is what poetry is all about, as I understand it, to use words artisticly and figuratively to emote. You did all three wonderfully, and for this reader, brought those same emotions that I have to the surface. You 'emoted' me, Elizabeth! It reminded me of my favorite Leonard Cohen song, "Dance me to the end of love."
