Rejection is hard to deal with

most people are allergic to the word no and that is not a myth

When we decided to get tattoos

we wound up with the indescive blues

Neither one of us liked what the other picked

so that activity we just totally skipped

I took a few old bras as he slept

tied them around his ankles so the knots stayed well kept

he did not like this idea at all

woke up in a frenzy and nearly threw me against the wall

Let's try slapping next I cried

so he waited until i wasn't looking and then he spied

like a bandit caught redhanded he ran

up behind and tapped me on the cheek like a bullyish man

and then he dashed into the other room like nothing was out of place

wtf? i thought as I set the dishes down shocked and disgraced

I wanted that to happen during sex on the bed

not when i was cooking dinner and my libido felt like lead

Rejection does not have to be the end

Compromise can work if your ear you're willing to lend
