Conception

In the dewy morn
with the dawning sun rising upon the world
she and I lay unclothed
coupled in each others embrace
warmed only by the burning embers
of the passion we shared
in the former twilight of last eve
Each blade of grass tickles my bare skin
as she lays peacefully beside me,
her chest rising and falling gently
in steady rhythm
harmony seems to exist for this one perfect moment
the smell of grass, and sweat, and morning air
dancing all around us
laying beside me, without a thought from either of us,
she has within her womb, a baby kindled,
from our midnight passion, my seed has fertilized
conception of our child, grows from our love
a bond which can not be broken
save we all die , and even then not truly
this, one of those perfect moments
I lay sprawled on the grass
breathing deeply, and drinking in the sunrise
that I might never forget this feeling.

Growing Within

Ever more beautiful she has become these past seven months
since that night of passion
in the grassy field
and that dewy mourn
in which we laid
comfortable in our loves aftermath
Now I look upon that gently rounding belly
the unique lines and curves
growing inside a child of our creation
a conception of Joy and work
and the culmination of our existence as one
I see her glowing skin and mounded belly
it makes me want to relive that eve from so long ago,
to take her in my embrace
and love this beautiful woman
how she deserves to be loved

Birth

Her pain grows down below,
bellowing come from her mouth
she is hurting with this new life emerging,
a sight which one can never forget
a crowning head pushing through
stretching her beautiful lips
bearing down, she grabs my hand and squeezes hard
screaming and cursing me, it is all in love
the head emerges, one last push left
the shoulders slide out
the baby is born.
Now holding the baby
the curses have changed to blessings
love pours into us both
each of us begin to shed our tears
tears of joy
tears of elation
our baby
the twining of our souls
the one from two
our baby
