She sat suspended, her hand to my heart, her breast.
Her tresses falling over the tumble of her
Desire, my eyes wedded to hers doomed to this joy,
Her strength, my weakness,
Burned with inner fire.

I knelt at the altar of this goddess of love.
Lost in my worship, awed by her perfection,
My mind captive by promise of her thought,
My breath came deeply,
Fragrance filled my mind.

My head bowed, I gave thanks for the bounty of love.
I supped at her table and drank from her deep fount.
Her echoing tremors in answer to my prayers,
Filled my heart with joy,
My soul with wonder.

Beauty abounds in details so clear, her face
Radiating with heat from her growing passion.
The swell of her breath, the circle of her movements,
Was a whirlpool of
Lust in choppy sea.

My passion engorged, I moved up with her rhythm.
A tangle of limbs and lips as we pulled at each
Other, our frantic need driving body and mind.
A crash of release
Aftershocks unbound.

When the storm of emotion passed from our breathing,
I looked in her eyes at the embers still glowing.
The twinkle of mischief a promise: more to come.
Tongues were meant to taste,
Bodies to love’s embrace.

Gentle Poetry

I like this writing style, soft and subtle. My favorite is the last two lines.
