Desperation’s kiss had held Me for so long...
Her cold cruel lips depriving Me of smile or song.

But then the breath of love blew across My soul....
like a soft summer breeze...intimate and warm
she stroked My desires, she fanned the fires of My passions, .
She consumes Me

In gentleness and warmth her being surrounds Me
Great brown eyes looking up into Mine
innocent eyes belying the depths within
opening to Me and to Me alone.... she exposes her soul.

Her voice fills My ears at all times,
moans and squeals of delight like a deafening roar
silently pushing away every other sound,
as the sweet texture of her sounds and warms Me

Fleeting thoughts filled with images of love
thoughts of her, invade My mind.
Pictures of her graceful embrace
creep through My solitude and revive Me.

Loves limbs accept Me, they wrap themselves around Me
like wings of a butterfly she spreads herself for Me.
I enter her slowly; shaking with desire.
Embraced in her love, I am at last home.

And now in My love’s caress, My life will never be the same
“Lacie, oh Lacie” My heart calls out your name.

Since it's that time of year, this almost sounds like an excellent poetic Valentine.
