Backwards, upside down, completely turned around.
How can you get to your destination,
When you don't even know where you are going.
This isn't where I'm supposed to be.

My plans have fallen to the wayside,
How did I get so far behind?
From where I stand I can't even see the track,
Nevermind the finish line.

Doubt and confusion are my only companions,
I feel I am lost in despair.
I am different now,
No trace of the person I used to be.
