A long forgotten face, word or song
May trigger a mental reawakenin'
Creakin' rusty-hinged doors may re-open
In cobwebbed , murky corridors of the mind !

Memories of friends , cousins , events
Are awarded at most , only a drawer in the mind
Very bulky memories, strong relationships etc
Rate a full filin' cabinet in the mind

As  one races along now unfamiliar
Ancient avenues of infancy, childhood , youth
In one's middle or old age , nostalgia
Spreads her arms to welcome her prodigal offspring
To the corridors of the mind !

Have'nt you dear Reader
Ever , ever returned
To the the pre-historic , childhood
Corridors of your mind ???
