a pair of perfectly
proportioned
laser beams

he grows old
yet nimble, awaiting
his gravity wave

more than likely
he'll have come

While waiting for my gravity wave I totally missed his coming and going. I just love this poem, it is too much fun.

I think I've met this surfer...

Facing scary dark matter colliding, leaving huge gravitational waves on their way to us (my imagination is running amok...) it's endearing to observe the light humorous (west coast?) angle you took to such 'a serious matter'. That's how they should teach physics and/or that's how they should teach poetry... Thank you for the LIGO page; without it I would have been lost!
