Each shoulder
is pinned down
with indecision
but it's not enough
for me
to change my mind
I have walked
this long, sad road
that I have brought
another to
and given the chance
to change it
I don't know
if I would
how can I take
what isn't mine
even if
it is so freely given
I just tell myself
it isn't his love
it's just his time
