I’m staring at a bed
Thinking of how we were last night
When I close my eyes
I can still feel us

At my place this time
A preamble to sex
Began at my front door
Ending up on the bed

I love the way the sheets look
After we’ve had sex
Rumpled and used
If I look closely, I can see outlines of you

You were on top
I can still feel you in me
Your weight pushing me into the mattress
I feel your heart beating on my skin

I asked you to stay inside of me
After we both came
I love feeling filled; your body aligned with mine
I feel your eyelashes against my neck

You kiss my chest
I rub your back
I kiss your lips
Nothing exists beyond where we touch

I felt you get hard again
I arch against you
You push deeper inside me
I lose all thought besides this

Looking at this bed
Not mine, not the one we shared
I miss your touch
I want you here

I consider calling you
Would I sound needy?
Will I scare you off?
Even if I assure you, I don’t want a relationship

It’s the touch I need
The contact I crave
I need to connect
I need to be filled with you
