Out from under rocks
They slide like snakes
Wearing the coat of "expert."
They are the coward critics
Who bash your poems.
Oh, they want to "help."
How ironic!
As for this poet,
Let the negative experts keep firing,
They only spur me on.
I am free. My self-image
Is not tied to the
Approval or disapproval of anyone.
I write for MY pleasure;
If others like or dislike,
It doesn't matter.
But on the other hand
For every negative I get,
There are five positive;
I'll go with majority anytime.
My heart goes out to the
Persons who feel they must
Insult others with their words;
Terrorism in any form is sad,
But if it makes you feel good....
