Sitting at a crossroads yet again,
Which direction should I chose?
The sky looks so dark ahead.
I am so afraid and so uncertain.

The weight of this decision rests squarely with me.
But what I decide from here will affect us all.
How can ever be sure which direction is correct?
My hand trembles as I point attempting feebly to pick.

Tomorrow may be just another day or maybe not.
It may be the begining of something good, that's my hope.
A fresh start purging all the non-essentials from my life.

Coming to an end is sad and I am depressed.
I have faced so much worse and still survived.
Striding full force ahead is what I do best.

Staring blankly into the unknown,
Having set my path I feel lighter now.
Soon enough I will know if my choice is right.
