Crowded party
I’m the one in the back, looking bored
Walk past me on the way to the bar
My eyes follow for a time
I look away before you catch me
Don’t notice my blushing
Let me just blend in
I’m too shy to make a move

Suddenly you’re there
Standing in front of me, smiling
With the right amount of confidence
I manage to smile back
Hoping I’m not looking too nervous
Your hand feels so soft as you extend it
I love the way your lips move
As you tell me your name
