Neglected pieces
Of crumpled parchment
Frustrated by generic and unauthentic terms
Describe love, you say?
With upmost difficulty
My words seem astray

Perhaps I’ll show you
Pictures of love…

A pair of strong ancient pillars
Tangled twigs of a bird’s nest
Bashful looks of a newly duo
Now they can’t keep their hands at rest

The callous fingertips of a passionate guitarist
Out-stretched stems of dying flowers
A female’s soft folds and talcum powdered skin
A male’s rigid body and his yearning that lies within

The scattered paper that blankets my room
Only shows a writer’s despondency
That truth and imagination
Are separated with aggravation
Lack of experience, nothing but need
I want to feel the things I write, and therefore write the things I feel
