in the depths of my soul
pain no man should feel
in a place where we all need someone
and not just anyone
see, today i realize
no decision should be made
without the grace of god
and no choices without prayer
a life with no focus
leaves a man blind
with out hope
and no true dreams
see, the past can't be corrected
but the future can have a better chance
there isn't a person who hasn't felt neglected
god's discipline is good and it perfects
pain means we are growing
and gaining wisdom doesn't come easy
and even though we have knowledge
still everything happens like its suppose to
see, we can look into the light without dying
we can walk on that narrow road
surround yourself with good people
and remember there is nothing wrong with crying
