Stars beginin’ to fade
Over the waters black surface
Trees a-swayin’ in the wind
And on the beach
There are foamin’ waves rolling in

Now the sun’s startin’ to rise
The horizon’s turning pink
And the waves on the lake
Turns blue ‘stead of black
The beauty of the sunrise overwhelms me

With your little hand in mine
And our faces turned t’wards the sun
In the water the reflection
Of you
Of beauty the sunrise cannot match

You shut you eyes
And turn away
I’m too stunned to move
I always thought
Crying women were the most beautiful
To me
